In which I talk about chanting Torah, singing, life, you name it. This blog is a writing exercise to help me organize my thoughts.

988. #BlogElul 2015 9: See
Seen yesterday morning from my roof. My favorite part, which took me awhile to notice, is the calm, clear sky at the very center, almost hidden by the little agitated clouds around it.

No real reason other than an unfiltered search online took me here, I tired a bit, rested, and started to read. Then read some more. 40 minutes later I think I should get back to my work but I feel good having sat with you a few minutes and listened - reading. So honest - hope that is equally happy all the time? No matter. So generous you can share and write like that - even for me who you do not know. I am, jewish man, artist, teacher with a lot I have to make matter - sometimes able to chant in the mornings. David
From a fellow artist/teacher--thank you so, so much for these kind words. They make me want to write more, and I will—life has gotten in the way, and it’s been hard to find time since, well, Aug. 2015. I am strengthened and comforted to know that there are people out there reading and listening!
aa I was smart enough to bookmark the page and go back and got your reply. Don't do it for me - i just got lucky - i was open and - receptive? And I am sure with your talents there have been others, many - david
Your words once again made my day, thank you. Making art has replaced writing for me this past year, to a great extent—but there’s a way for me to find time for both.
