In which I talk about chanting Torah, singing, life, you name it. This blog is a writing exercise to help me organize my thoughts.

393. Unlike all others
I've added a link under "Torah," at right: a new blog of weekly divrei Torah (audio and written) brought to you by the world's most creative interpreters of such things. One of my first wide-eyed Shabbat mornings at my synagogue, years ago, coincided with theirs as well; I sat on the edge of my seat listening to strange words come to life, and wondered how much more I could hear if I knew how to crack the code. So I started to learn. (Simultaneous translations of Torah readings were the norm in ancient times, until modernity and elitism intervened--what, the common people should understand? No way.) I look forward to words of Torah on this site that will be quite unlike any others.
